TWiT podcast is the flagship of the TWiT Network
Today’s recommendation is the leading independent tech podcast, This Week in Tech (TWiT).
If you’re into tech, have an ‘old school style’ mind, and a great sense of humor, then this show is for you. Leo Laporte, the author, maker, and the host of this and a dozen of other TWiT Network podcasts, invites top tech guests (Jason Calacanis, Kevin Rose, JC Dvorak, Patrick Norton, to name a few) and does the fun, clever, and up-to-date show.
The TWiT Network also offers free quality podcasts on topics such as kids, food, Windows, Mac, law, gadgetry, and more!
You’re also able to view the live stream of Leo at his TWiT house, and listen to the live audiostream. The podcast duration varies from an hour to hour and forty minutes.

PRI: Selected Shorts Podcast
Today’s recommendation will be from the world of podcasts. I don’t search too much the podcast directory of iTunes (at least not as much as the Apps directory), so my podcast collection is rather conservative. Still, I want to believe theese are the gems of podcasting.
Ok, let’s hit the title! It’s PRI: Selected Shorts Podcast. Selected Shorts (also look up at Wikipedia) is a live perfomance of famous professional actors reading famous short stories. It happens weekly at Symphony Space NY, and hosted by Isaiah Sheffer.
The various genres of the stories will satisfy any taste, the performers are so good, that I’ve never had a single complaint about them reading. This podcast is one of my favorites! It saves me time during my commute, it puts me in a good mood instantly, and it keeps me up-to-date with the latest greatest literature event!
Here are some of my favorite episodes: ‘Playwright’s Delight’, ‘It’s Love’, ‘Figuring It Out’, ‘Unlikely Situations’, ‘A Talking Horse and a Boat Race’, ‘Stop Making Sense’, ‘Food and Fairy Tales’.
Subscribe to PRI: Selected Shorts with iTunes, My Yahoo!, or Zune.
