Music ‘Shorts!’

Some long time ago I’ve created a series of very short music pieces as replacements for my standart computer startup tune. Later on I’ve managed to upload a couple of them into my phone, and they worked pretty well as sms-alarms.

So, today I’m giving away the top five (as of my opinion) of the tunes! Please, feel free to copy and utilize them as you’d like to.

‘m-e-t-r-o’ Project soundtrack

I love reading. I read and listen to audiobooks in english, I read a lot through the Internet, I subscribe to Noviy Mir, a contemporary russian literature journal. And I can’t help noticing over and over again, that russian pop literature is going through harsh times. Not much has been done to keep it alive, thus it always makes me happy to read a decent pop title. One of such titles for me is ‘Metro-2033‘, a post-nuclear-underground-subway-life story set in future Moscow.

At a time I even wanted to make an audiobook out of it (I still do!), and even started writing some gloomy music tracks. So here they are, a few tracks from my ‘m-e-t-r-o’ project.
